Government Intiatives - "Start Strong"
In 2025, the NSW Government’s “Start Strong” program provides funding for preschool education
Fee Relief:
The program offers fee relief to families with children in eligible preschool programs, including community preschools, mobile preschools, and long day care services.
Funding for 3 and 4 Year Olds:
4-year-olds: Families with children aged 4 years old on or before July 31st can receive up to $2,174 in fee relief.
3-year-olds: Families with children aged 3 years old on or before July 31st can receive up to $515 in fee relief.
Eligibility:

Children must be attending an eligible early childhood education program.

Children must not be in compulsory schooling.

Families do not need to be eligible for or receiving the Australian Government Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to be eligible for Start Strong funding.

Citizenship and residency status are not taken into consideration for eligibility.

3. Improves child's emotional regulation
